I had an amazing two-bedroom apartment when I moved to Denver. My roommate and I both had views of Downtown Denver from our bedrooms. We threw some great parties and had some good times there. I was so bummed when he told me he was moving out. He got engaged to his long time girlfriend and they were getting a place together when our lease was up. I was at a point in my life that I didn’t want to go through finding another roommate and I couldn’t afford the apartment all on my own. I searched high and low for a one bedroom that had the same amenities with no luck. The one good thing about my roommate leaving was that he let me know with plenty of time, so I had time to find a god place. Luckily, two weeks before our lease was up I found a place. I immediately signed a lease and hooked up my utilities and denver directv. Now that I live alone I realize how great it is. It was time for me to start living on my own. I guess my former roommate’s engagement was a blessing after all.
