I was thinking of getting back to school but that is not so soon yet, I was researching and looking for what could be the best course I could get if ever that time comes. I am not sure if I can study here since we all know how expensive colleges here so I am considering studying online in UP or in other schools that will accept me and that fits my budget. While looking, this top 10 in demand courses caught my attention.
The first one is Culinary Arts. They said that it had twice the demand of the second place subject which is BUSINESS with seven majors excluding Accounting which has separate place of third. I always wanted culinary arts course but it is so darn expensive! In that course I know you can easily start a business in time with just few units about business and sometimes even without taking a course about it. I know lots of culinary arts graduate that are very successful. Accounting course is also good. My parents in law were both accountants, they have nice salary too. But this course is not for me, I am not into numbers but accounting is good for business too. Fourth Place is ENGINEERING in all disciplines including the most populat Computer Engineer. I know some engineers too that are successful. Fifth is IT like my husband now. During our times, I think IT is on top of the in demand schools. This course is also a good one based on what I am seeing with my husband and other IT friends. Sixth one is Nursing. You know this is one of my target actually. Can I possibly be a nurse? I always wanted to be a nurse when I was a kid. I just can’t afford it. It is also an expensive course. And I thought this course is the top 1 coz I have been reading lots of reviews about it not to mention the so much scrubs and lab coats in the net like this one http://www.blueskyscrubs.com/. This course in on my number 1 option. The seventh top in demand course is Psychology. Always a favorite (like business) for those who don’t really know what to do. I am an AB Psychology graduate and I remember shifting to this course from education because I don’t have any other option that time. But I don’t regret it. It is a nice course if you really pursue it. You can choose different careers, you can be a consutlant, a doctor, a psychiatric, a guidance counselor, a teacher, or an HR staff and so on. Eight is a Graphic Design Course. I know some in blogging industry who are good at it. They are awesome and they have great pay too! Ninth is almost the same as the eight, Digital Arts. And finally the tenth is Hotel and Restaurant Management. This is my brother’s course and until now he don’t have a job. Not because HRM is not a real in demand, actually I have known several friends with this course that has good job and high pay. I just can’t figure out why my brother doesn’t have a job.
I guess whatever course you take, as long as you have the determination and goal. You will become successful in the future. Not all Accountants succeed in their course, not all teachers succeed in teaching. So what I am trying to say is that, don’t base your course with popularity or whichever you think that will make you successful in the future, I guess you have to choose what’s best for you. What fits your personality and your capabilities.
